What we believe
The Apostolic Creed is the earliest statement of belief that is known.
We prefer to simply accept the Word of G-d (The Bible) as the final authority in all things regarding the faith. Still, this credal statement is as pure a summary of the Biblical view as can easily be found. It is accepted by most denominations.
A Messianic version of the
Apostolic Creed
We believe in G-d, the Father El Shaddai,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Y’shua haMeshiach, his only Son,
our Lord,
who was conceived by the Ruach haKodesh,
born of the Virgin Miriam,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended into sheol.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Ruach haKodesh,
the fullness of the Body of Meshiach,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
